Anybody every remove that old style logo on the slide? If so how?

This is built on a Essex frame with a Colt Ace slide assy. Hard to read the slide picture but that's the Colt Ace logo.

I think Century Arms used to sell these years ago, I bought it ages ago from a friend just never got around to shooting it. Been a safe queen refound it while moving stuff to make room for a trap gun so heck heres a couple of pictures. Its chambered for .270 winchester.
