This just arrived today. It is a 1951 Ithaca 37T 12ga. A "T" had the wide "Knick" rib. The only flaw/downside is that somewhere in its past, it was opened up to a "Mod" choke.

Ithaca Serial Nbr Cutoff for Barrel Replacement

I see in another post here on a thread that has been closed, that there is some erroneous information. The actual serial nbr cutoff is 855,000. This fact is independently verified by reading this page on Ithaca Guns website http://www.ithacagun.com/ithacabarrels.html a little over 1/3 down...

Some of you have probably seen this on the other shotgun forums, but I have to share..... Well I found a 1953 model 37 16ga on gunbroker. I was specifically buying it for the magazine nut. It has a polychoke barrel on it and had a cruddy looking recoil pad (notice the had). Well this turns...

My kid is 4'10" and almost 17 so she will be...

A pair of Original Remington 1858's

Just sharing these with you all. It would be nice to have the disposable income to buy these. I don't have an extra $10,500.00 to spend on a set of percussion revolvers, Oh well..... http://www.gunsinternational.com/Remington-1858-Army-44-caliber-revolvers-AH2992-.cfm?gun_id=100295615 make...

Uberti 1858 -vs- Ruger Old Army Questions

Does any have or had both so a valid comparison can be made ? I drug my feet when I should have bought a ROA, and now the fixed sight ones are outrageously expensive IF you can find one. I have been considering the Uberti 1858, either in the conversion model, or getting a percussion one and...
